NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that a second public hearing will be held on the 13th day of April, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. at a regular board meeting, at the Town Office located at 2 Toolhouse Road, Gainesville, New York, to consider the proposed Local Law No. 1 of 2026 Entitled “2026 Moratorium Law on Solar Energy Systems and Battery Energy Storage Systems
The purpose of this Local Law is to impose a temporary moratorium on applications or proceedings for applications for, or review of applications for, or the issuance of approvals or permits for construction, operation, or siting of any Solar Energy System or Battery Energy Storage Systems within the Town of Gainesville
THIS PUBLIC HEARING IS BEING HELD TO HEAR ALL INTERESTED PARTIES AND CITIZENS FOR OR AGAINST THE PROPOSED LOCAL LAW
Copies of the proposed Local Law are also available for review at the Town Clerk’s Office during regular office hours.
